Student Gospel Community Groups

At theRefuge Church, we believe that Student Ministry is more than a program and more than entertainment. We are passionate about our Student Gospel Community Groups (or Student GCs), because we believe that teaching students to read scripture and creating environments for them to fellowship with other students and be discipled by adult leaders is critical to their growth as believers. Student GCs meet on Sunday nights form 5 to 8 PM in the Student Center. Dinner is provided.

Through the rest of the semester, we will be taking a break from studying the Gospel according to John and will be looking at what it means to truly follow what the Gospel commands us to do in everyday life. You can view the Discussion Guides below. Please note that some of the selected passages discuss our word choice and sexual purity/lust/adultery. These are issues that our students face everyday and that we believe the Church has an obligation to speak into and share the truth of the Gospel. Student GC Leaders will discuss these topics with their groups and ask students for modern day examples and personal struggles. Topics such as pornography, swearing, pre-marital sex, etc may be spoken about. If you feel that the passages are too mature for your child, please do not send them on the evening that we will be discussing the selected passage.
