DNA Groups

Discover - Nurture - Act

At its core, discipleship is a multifaceted, communal, and holistic process as the gospel transforms our head, heart, and hands. Part of discipleship is growing in our understanding of the gospel with others.
God calls us to DISCOVER who He is, what He has done, who we are, and how we live as we read the Bible.
Secondly, we’re called in to relationships that NURTURE the ongoing journey of repentance and faith.
Lastly, Christ calls us to ACT as we grow in obedience.

At theRefuge Church, we encourage everyone to take part in both a Gospel Community Group and DNA Group.

While our Gospel Community Groups (GCs) gather for the purpose of being on mission to their neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and communities (outward focus), DNA is focused inward on discipling ourselves and one another as we follow Jesus together.

These two discipleship environments complement and strengthen one another as we learn about Jesus together (DNA) and then put it in to action while on mission, serving our communities (GCs).

DNA: Inward Focus; Gospel Community: Outward Focus

DNA Groups are comprised of three to four, same-sex people who meet together regularly as they commit to ongoing discipleship of one another.
